Step 1: Clean and dry the surface of your Xiaomi.
Step 2: Choose a polishing tool. A credit card, a gift card, or a blunt plastic customer card are suitable.
Step 3: Lay your Xiaomi flat in front of you - with the opening facing you and the laptop completely closed.
Step 4: Slowly peel off the protective film from two corners along one of the longer edges of the sticker.
Step 5: While holding the sticker taut, align the edge of the sticker with the edge of your phone and stick it on lightly.
Step 6: Smooth over the top of the sticker with a credit card to smooth and push out air bubbles. (Note that most of the protective film is still attached to the sticker at this point).
Step 7: Continue to peel off the backing material in small steps (1-2 inches) while smoothing it with a credit card.
Step 8: When you reach the end, ensure the corners are aligned. Start with one corner, press with your finger on the corner/pieces of the corner, and then gently pull the protective film off completely from the sticker on that side - continue until it is fully removed. Apply pressure to the opposite corner to fully affix the decal.
Step 9: If one or more corners/edges are not fully attached, heat them with a hair dryer at a distance of at least 5 cm for no more than 3 seconds per corner.
